This is a beautiful example of Pleuroceras spinatus from the Jurassic of Germany. The ammonite is preserved in a natural concretion, and both halves of the concretion are intact. This particular ammonite has the natural white coloration intact, which is quite unusual. The ammonite contrasts nicely with the grey matrix, and exhibits great detail, showcasing the distinct ribbing and the inner whorls beautifully. This is a wonderful display specimen of a large, white Pleuroceras from Germany.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
