This is a beautiful ammonite plate from Russia. There are two large Cosmoceras and two Perisphinctes ammonites on the piece. All four specimens have distinct ribbing and wonderful iridescence still preserved. The ammonites are aesthetically positioned on the large matrix block. This fossil would display beautifully in a fossil collection, or as a objet d'art in your home or office. This is a very striking ammonite plate with two different types represented.
