Here is a beautiful ammonite from Russia. This is Aconeceras trautscholdi from the Jurassic. This 3-dimensional ammonite has faint ribbing and a very sharp keel. The gorgeous, iridescent, mother-of-pearl shell is intact on this wonderful specimen. Needless to say, this disc-shaped ammonite has excellent color and contrast. The ammonite is nicely perched on the block of matrix that also contains other ammonites. This is a very aesthetic ammonite from Russia.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
