This is a beautiful display fossil. It is a large block of iridescent ammonites from Russia. There are two types of ammonites represented - Cosmoceras and Paracadoceras (lower left corner). All FIVE specimens have deep ribbing and wonderful iridescence still preserved. The ammonites are very inflated and 3-D and are well showcased on the large matrix block. This is a killer display plate of ammonites that would look great in anyone's collection.
