Here is a very uncommon echinoid we acquired from an old collection. It is a fabulous Tetragramma violare urchin from the Cretaceous. This extremely inflated sea urchin has very nice form and exhibits good plate structure. This type of echinoid has large knobs and very distinct symmetry. This is a very fine specimen of this rare spiny urchin from North Africa.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
