This is a gorgeous pair of fossil ammonites. It is a fabulous double Paracadoceras from the Jurassic Callovian Layers of Russia. These wide-bodied ammonites have beautiful, natural iridescence preserved - much better than the photo shows. The ammonites have excellent form and detail preserved. The large cephalopods are wonderfully perched atop a colorful block of druzy-covered limestone. This is an extremely displayable double example of this distinct type of ammonite.
