This is a very nice specimen of Tetragramma malbosi from the Cretaceous of Spain. This uncommon sea urchin has been removed from the matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. The fossil is quite robust and exhibits extremely fine detail. The entire test is covered with small pustules, and the thin ambulacra are very easily seen. This is an excellent example of this distinct echinoid from Europe.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
