This is a very fine specimen of a Promicroceras ammonite from Lyme Regis, England. The striking ammonite has very good detail preserved. The fossil is replaced by calcite and displays well on the large, natural plate of limestone. This is a nice, colorful example of this classic Jurassic ammonites from England.
