This type has many ribs that are coarse in the beginning and becoming very fine near the living chamber. The keel is flat and narrow with a row of prominent nodes on either side. This ammonite is very 3-dimensionally preserved and exhibits fine detail. Much of the mottled iridescent nacre is still present, and a many beautiful colors are displayed.
