This is the lower jaw of an Ice Age Bison from Nebraska. This jaw is very large, obviously from an adult animal. There are still many back teeth firmly embedded in the jaw. The enamel of the teeth is in fine condition, and the cusps of the teeth are easily seen. The white teeth contrast nicely with the brown bone.
