Here is a nice plate of fossil shrimp from the Cretaceous of Lebanon. There are two fine specimens of Carpopenaeus callirostris well displayed on this slab. Due to political unrest, specimens from this site are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. These shrimp are nicely preserved and exhibit good detail. The heads, segmented carapaces, tails, and legs of the arthropods are clearly defined. The shrimp are well showcased on the large plate of sublithographic limestone. This is a fine pair of fossil shrimp from the Cretaceous.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
