This is a very fine Promicroceras ammonite from Lyme Regis, England. The striking ammonite has very good detail preserved. The fossil is replaced by a light-colored calcite and displays very well on the large matrix plate. This is a nice, colorful example of this classic Jurassic ammonite from England.
