This is an excellent specimen of a genuine meteorite, an ancient piece of outer space. This meteorite is the classic NWA 869 fall. This specimen was found in the year 2001 in Morocco. This meteorite is an L5 stone chondrite, which is an unusual type. This sliced section of stone exhibits fine detail - the conglomerated interior of the meteorite is wonderfully displayed. This is a very unique piece of the history of the universe. (The meteorite comes in a 3.3" X 4.3" glass-topped display case.)
