This is a very pretty fossil. It is a Ganoceras from the Devonian of Morocco. This cephalopod has been highly polished on both sides, and the fine detail of the fossil is beautifully displayed. The individual chambers are easily seen, and the coiling pattern is clearly defined. This is an attractive example of a Devonian ammonoid from Morocco. (White streaks are reflections, not on the fossil itself.)
