This is a beautiful specimen of Asteroceras sp. from the Jurassic of England. This ammonite is very 3-dimensional and exhibits very coarse ribbing. The fossil has excellent, natural greenish coloration and contrasts well with the brownish limestone matrix. The ammonite is beautifully perched on the natural block of limestone which also has many other fossils preserved. This is a wonderful display example of this collectible ammonite from England.
