Here is a distinct specimen of Cleoniceras cleon from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. This ammonite is quite detailed and very 3-dimensional in preservation. Both sides of the sharp-keeled ammonite have been polished to reveal the detailed suture pattern of the cephalopod. The unique suture pattern is wonderfully displayed on both sides of the caramel-brown ammonite. This is a displayable example of Cleoniceras from the Cretaceous.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
