Here is a beautiful specimen of a European ammonite. This is an excellent Parkinsonia ammonite from the Jurassic of Germany. The cephalopod has a very rounded keel and displays distinct ribbing. The ammonite is inflated and exhibits great detail. The colorful ammonite displays the smaller, inner whorls in wonderful fashion. This distinct specimen is well displayed on the block of natural matrix that also contains a cool Belemnite. This is a very fine Parkinsonia ammonite and Belemnite from Germany.
