Here is a large canine tooth from Ursus uralensis, a cave bear. This specimen is from the Pleistocene Cave Deposits of Russia. Cave bear material is becoming harder to obtain as the old caves are producing very little new material. This canine tooth exhibits a long, complete root. The enamel is well preserved and the tip of the tooth displays a very small amount of natural wear. This is an excellent, robust canine tooth from an extinct cave bear.
