This is a very nice fossil lobster from the Cretaceous of Lebanon. The specimen is well preserved on a slab of lithographic limestone. There is some enhancement is present, and the fossil exhibits nice detail. The claws or pincers are well displayed. The segmentation of the tail is quite evident. The specimen has extremely long antennae which are very prominent. The fossil has great, dark brown color and contrasts nicely with the cream-colored matrix. This is a displayable specimen of a fossil lobster from the Cretaceous.
