This is a nice vertebrate fossil. It is a partial skull and lower jaws from the Oreodont, Merycoidodon culbertsoni. Oreodonts were herding animals similar to sheep. This specimen has most of the teeth in the skull and the majority of the lower jaws intact. The other side of the rock shows the skull and jaws also, but not as well. This is a fine display fossil of articulated oreodont teeth.
