This is a very unusual ammonite. It is a nice ammonite in matrix from Queen Charlotte Island, Canada. This specimen has many thin ribs and has no defined keel. Unlike most ammonites, this ammonite only has one large whorl exposed. The ammonite is very 3-D and displays well on the matrix block. This is an enigmatic ammonite from Canada.
