This is a very nice Ice Age fossil. It is a large vertebra from the European Woolly Mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius. This bone appears to be the coccyx vertebra. The bone has great form and the detail is excellent. This is an extremely well preserved mammoth vertebra from the North Sea.
