This is a beautiful ammonite from the Jurassic of Russia. This is a very fine specimen of Craspedites nodiger. The ammonite is beautifully colored, being mostly white with dark brown to black suture lines. The inner whorls of the specimen are quite distinct. The ammonite is well centered on a block of natural matrix. The contrast of the fossil to the matrix is excellent. This is a very pretty ammonite from Russia.
