This is a beautiful fossilized Mammoth tooth. It is from the Wooly Mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius from Siberia, Russia. This tooth is 9 inches long and 7 inches high, definitely from an adult mammoth. The grinding surface has excellent detail, showing the plate structure very well. The tooth has great yellow-orange color and texture. And it is HEAVY - definitely a fossil tooth. Also, we are adding a sample of real Wooly Mammoth hair along with the tooth. Together, they are a great set of Wooly Mammoth fossils from near the Arctic Circle.
