This is a very nice fossil Oreodont skull. It is from a Merycoidodon culbertsoni, an extinct herding animal similar to a sheep. This skull is mostly complete and even has the front teeth intact, which is unusual. The teeth display very well in the skull. There are even a half a dozen vertebrae preserved on the block. This is a great fossil skull from an extinct animal.
