This is a very decorative fossil. It is a highly polished Geisonoceras from the Devonian of Morocco. The suture pattern is well defined. The individual chambers of the extinct cephalopod are easily seen. This specimen even retains the living chamber of the ammonoid. The beautiful colors make this a very displayable example of a Devonian ammonoid from the Devonian of Morocco.
