This is an unusual Art Deco antique. It is a signed Frankart Art Deco Lamp and Ashtray Combo. This piece is ORIGINAL - NOT A REPRODUCTION! It is very unusual because it was manufactured in New York, then sent to Australia to be wired and sold! The light socket has printed right on it that it was made in Australia, and the cord also has an Aussie plug. It will have to be rewired to ''light up'' in the US, or it can be kept ''as is'' to keep it as an original collectible. The figure is a very stylized kneeling nude. The finish is gunmetal in color, and looks like it has never been painted! And the base is even signed ''FRANKART''. This is a very ''Deco-looking'' original Art Deco lamp.
