Very Nice Devonochonetes From Pennsylvania

Here is a nice specimen of Devonochonetes sp. from the Middle Devonian of Pennsylvania. The brachiopod exhibits very fine detail. The radiating ribs of the brachiopod are very nicely defined. The fossil is well centered on the natural plate of matrix. There are also other brachiopod and crinoid fragments on the block of matrix. This is a very nice example of Devonochonetes from the Mahantango Formation.
