This is a beautiful dragonfly nymph from the Cretaceous of Brazil. This large insect nymph exhibits wonderful detail. The head, body, and legs are well defined. The two tail spines are easily seen. The body of the nymph displays strong segmentation. The dark brown fossil contrasts nicely with the light colored matrix. The insect is well presented on the semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a gorgeous dragonfly nymph from Brazil.
