This is an excellent fossil Oreodont skull. It is from a Merycoidodon culbertsoni, an extinct herding animal similar to a sheep. This skull is complete, and it has been prepared on both sides so it can be displayed at any angle. The lower jaws are tightly articulated, and the teeth display very well in the skull. The skull is beautifully showcased on the custom-made wooden base. This is a great display fossil for home or office that would make a wonderful conversation piece.
