Here is a great plate of brachiopods from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. There are three specimens of Orthostrophia strophomenoides on this block. All of the brachiopods have both valves intact and tightly articulated. They are quite inflated and exhibit fine detail. The coarse plications of the brachiopods are easily seen. Two of the brachiopods appear to have some type of epifaunal growth, either bryozoa or coral, firmly attached. The fossils have very good color and contrast and are well presented on the natural block of limestone. This is a nice multiple specimen of Orthostrophia from the Haragan Formation.
