This is a good eurypterid fossil. It is a Eurypterus remipes from New York. This specimen is missing the end of the tail, but it is very detailed. Most of the fine walking arms are present, which is uncommon. Both paddles are intact and well displayed. The eurypterid has good contrast against the light-grey matrix. There is no restoration to the specimen. This is a detailed example of this unusual Merostomata fossil.
