This is a very special artifact. It is an Aztec figure, a terracotta ''Warrior in Jaguar Mask'' from Mexico. This specimen was found in Tlalmanalco, Mexico on October 27, 1954 (the date and location are written in India ink on the back side of the figure). This specimen was once part of the famous Dr. Allen Heflin Collection. The figure is in fine condition and still retains excellent detail. The warrior's face is easily seen framed within the Jaguar Mask. This is a very exciting piece of Aztec history that came out of a very famous artifact collection.
