This is a very nice vertebrate fossil. It is a large Bison (buffalo) leg bone from the Pleistocene deposits of Nebraska. This specimen is quite solid and has excellent bone detail. Both ends of the bone are wonderfully intact, and the natural color is very nice. It would make for an excellent display specimen. This is a superb example of a fossil leg bone from an Ice Age buffalo.
