Here is a great plate of brachiopods from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. There are three specimens of Meristella atoka on this block. All of the brachiopods have both valves intact and tightly articulated. They are quite inflated and exhibit fine detail. One of the brachiopods appears to have some type of epifaunal growth or worm borings preserved. The fossils have very good color and contrast and are well presented on the natural block of limestone. This is a nice multiple specimen of Meristella from the Haragan Formation.
