Here is a superb Mammoth tooth from Mammuthus primigenius, extracted from the Permafrost of Siberia. This specimen was found in the same area that was featured in the Discovery Channel special, ''Raising the Mammoth''. The tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and exhibits a beautiful yellow-orange coloration. The grinding surface of the tooth is fully preserved and beautifully displayed. This solid tooth has the LONG roots intact, some of which are still encased in a section of jaw (rare). This tooth can be displayed from all sides, at any angle. This is a very collectible and striking example of an Ice Age Woolly Mammoth tooth with a section of jawbone still attached to the roots.
