This is a large grouping of very unusual echinoderms. It is a slab of unidentified cystoids from Morocco. There are seven essentially complete cystoids on the plate. These cystoids have long, thin stems, cylindrical bodies, and long, finger-like arms. The tubular bodies of the cystoids have excellent plate detail preserved (hard to see in photo). The large cystoids are aesthetically spaced on the 8" X 13" plate of dense sandstone. This is a very collectible multiple plate of these extremely enigmatic organisms.
