This is a nice specimen of Brazilia bradfordensis from the Jurassic of England. The ammonite has been extracted from the surrounding matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. Both sides of the fossil cephalopod are very clean. This type of ammonite has distinctive ribbing and a very strong, sharp keel. The fossil is 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The inner whorls are nicely displayed. The back side of the ammonite shows the suture pattern. This is a fine example of Brazilia bradfordensis from England.
