This is an excellent vertebrate fossil. It is a Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is well preserved and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. The limbs are clearly defined in a splayed position, and most of the tiny digits of the feet are present (rare). The skull is beautifully preserved, and many long teeth are easily seen protruding from the mouth! The Keichousaur has great color and contrast and is beautifully displayed on the rectangular plate of shale. And best of all, there is absolutely NO REPAIR OR RESTORATION on this fine specimen. This is an extremely collectible example of this dinosaur-like reptile from the Triassic.
