Here is a fine specimen of an unusual paracrinoid. This is Oklahomacystis tribrachiatus from the Ordovician of Oklahoma. This primitive echinoderm is very 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. It has extremely ornamented plates that are very beautifully articulated. The paracrinoid is nicely displayed on the block of limestone that contains many other fossils. This is a great example of this bizarre Ordovician echinoderm.
