Here is a great multiple ammonite specimen from an unusual location. These are Arnioceras sp. from the Jurassic of Chile. There are many ammonites on the plate. These well-preserved ammonites are very attractive and exhibit fine detail. The coarse ribs are quite evident, and the tiny inner whorls are clearly defined all the way to the very center. The ammonites have good color and contrast and are well presented on the natural block of matrix. And, best of all, this is a split pair - both halves are offered together. This is a very nice split pair multiple plate of Arnioceras from South America.
