This is a rare Cambrian association piece. It is a slab with two Elrathia kingi and a Choia utahenesis from Utah. It is very unusual to find trilobites and a sponge on the same rock! Choia is a type of sponge with radiating spines, and is also found in the Burgess Shale. This plate was found in the Wheeler ''Red Beds'', giving the fossil a reddish-pink coloration. This is an excellent example of two very different organisms from the Cambrian Seas.
