This is a beautiful example of Pleuroceras spinatus from the Jurassic of Germany. The ammonites are preserved in a natural concretion, and both halves of the concretion are intact. These particular ammonites have the natural white coloration intact, which is quite unusual. The ammonites contrast nicely with the grey matrix, and exhibit great detail, showcasing the distinct ribbing and the inner whorls beautifully. This is a wonderful display specimen of these white Jurassic ammonites from Germany.
