This is a very unusual echinoderm. It is an Unidentified Carpoid from the Ordovician of Morocco. This type has a long stem, a thin body, and long arms. All of these features are well preserved on this specimen. The long arms are beautifully splayed open on this specimen. This is a very fine example of this unusual carpoid from Africa.
