This is a very fine specimen of Pachyphyllum nevadense magnum from the Devonian of Arizona. The fossil has been extracted from the surrounding matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. This colonial coral is very 3-dimensional and exhibits excellent detail. The individual corallites are beautifully displayed. This is a very pretty example of a fossil colonial coral from the Devonian.
