Here is a triple specimen of an unusual ammonite from the Jurassic of England. This specimen was found in the Promicroceras Beds, but unlike Promicroceras which have a very strong rib pattern, these ammonites are much smoother with a very faint rib pattern. These ammonites are 3-dimensional and display the inner whorls very nicely. The fossils have great color and contrast. They are well positioned on the natural plate of matrix. This is a nice grouping of an unusual ammonite from Lyme Regis, England.
