This is a very unusual echinoderm. It is an Unidentified Carpoid from the Ordovician of Morocco. This strange type has a long stem, a thin body, and long arms. All of these features are well preserved on this specimen. The long arms are beautifully splayed open and easily seen on this specimen. This is an excellent example of this unusual carpoid from Africa.
