This is a rare Ice Age fossil. It is a large Wooly Rhino Vertebra from the famous Mammoth site in Siberia. This type of rhino survived through the Ice Age in Europe and Siberia, where this specimen was found. This large vert has excellent detail - the bone is well preserved, and the processes are mostly intact. The vertebra has a beautiful, natural red-brown patina. This is a very unusual fossil from an extinct Wooly Rhino.
