This is an unusual grouping of insects. It is a set of three Plecia pealei (March Flies) from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This fossil was found in the ''Fish Layers'', not the more common ''Leaf Layers''. These Bibionid Flies have great detail preserved - even the wings and legs are easily seen! The bugs are nicely presented on the rectangular matrix plate. This is a great multiple example of these unusual March Flies from the ''Fish Site'' in Wyoming.
