Here is a very nice specimen of Clypeus ploti from the Jurassic of England. This large echinoid exhibits very fine detail. The petaloid ambulacra are very well defined. The test of the echinoid is entirely covered with fine ornamentation. There is also a fossil bivalve attached to the surface of the echinoid. This is an excellent example of this large sea urchin from England.
